Hyman Jacobs, President & CEO, has announced the organizations strategic partnership with Dr. Bernardo Toro-Echague, MD, who will now serve as the Corporate Medical Director for the New Jersey-based healthcare organization.
Christina Fleming, Vice President of Marketing, said of the decision, "Dr. Toro is one of the most well-regarded physicians in our market. He is a triple-threat. He has a large Internal Medicine practice in Middlesex County, rounds at several local hospitals and post-acute care centers, and he does home visits to patients in need. When we made the decision to bring on board a Corporate Medical Director, we didn't need to look very far. Dr. Toro has been a key physician for us for many years, and we knew his style aligned with our goal of #SpreadingWellness to the patients lives we touch every day."
The leadership team will work with Dr. Toro to provide inservices for their staff to enhance clinical capabilities, refine continuity of care for patients post-discharge, and utilize his expertise when developing pathways for advanced clinical programming.
